John Azodi, CPA, is the owner and president of Azodi CPA & Investments, PC. He started his business in 1991 as a certified public accounting firm. In 1994, he expanded the business to provide 401(k) administration services to small businesses. In 1998, he registered as a Financial Advisor and was licensed as an Insurance Agent so he could provide investments and insurance products to his clients. Since then, he has worked as an Independent Agent. He has taught a variety of seminars and classes on such topics as tax planning, starting and running a profitable business, and investment and retirement planning. John is also the current host of a talk show called “Wealth is a Choice” every Saturday morning on KCMO Talk Radio 710. In 1974, at the age of 18, with limited knowledge of English, John moved from Iran to the United States where he put himself through college, graduating from the University of Colorado in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He spent seven years in public accounting and two years as an office manager and controller for a physical rehabilitation agency before starting his own business.
